Popcorn topped Mackie's Mince Pies
For a sweet festive treat look no further than these mini mince pies, topped with our Mince Pie popcorn for optimum Christmas flavour!
Popcorn topped Mackie's Mince Pies
Ingredients:
1 block of sweet shortcrust pastry
1 jar of mincemeat
Handful of Mackie’s Mince Pie popcorn
Dusting of icing sugar
Divide the pastry into 24 little blocks and roll them into balls.
Mould the dough into the holes in a mini muffin tin and prick the base with a fork.
Place a small teaspoon of mincemeat into each pastry shell and bake for 20 minutes at 180c.
When they come out of the oven, place some popcorn on top of each mince pie.
Place them on a dish to serve & sprinkle with icing sugar for a snowy finish - best served & eaten warm!
