Crisp Packet Recycling
Last updated: 1.54pm, Thursday 2nd May 2019
The Mackie's Crisps factory in Errol is now officially a crisp packet recycling point!
We are delighted to be getting involved with the crisp packet recycling scheme which has been set up by Walkers Crisps & the recycling company, TerraCycle.
This allows us to be a crisp recycling point for all your finished bags of Mackie’s (other crisps brands allowed!) which we will then send off to TerraCycle to be turned into anything from plant pots to park benches and watering cans to cool-bags.
The drop off bin for your empty crisp packets can be found in our reception area on site at our Factory in Errol and will be open for collections from 9am to 5pm, Monday – Friday.
We can accept any brand of crisp packets as long as it’s empty, and please make sure not to fold them into a small triangle.
Unfortunately we cannot accept popcorn bags, crisp tubes, pretzel or meat snack bags, but if you have any questions please feel free to call or email us on 01821 641 250 / firstname.lastname@example.org.
We realise not everyone eating Our Crisps may be near to our factory so for or more information on the recycling scheme and to find a recycling point in your area please visit: https://www.walkers.co.uk/recycle
